The power cable industry is a large-scale pillar industry in China, and the production process requires extremely high production standards to maintain the safe operation of the entire industrial system. Therefore, the majority of power cable manufacturers need to conduct a very strict review and purchase of cable production materials.
The following is an introduction to the common problems of cable materials and provide some help for the selection of materials.
1. Heat shrinkable cap: inaccurate specifications, poor material memory, long-term sintering, poor strength, etc.
2. Copper strip: uneven thickness, oxidation and discoloration, insufficient tensile force, ruffles, insufficient softening, hardness, many short heads, poor jointing, paint film or zinc layer peeling, etc.
3. Steel wire: the outer diameter is too large, the zinc layer falls off, the galvanizing is insufficient, the short head is more, the tensile force is not enough, etc.
4. Copper rod: made of recycled miscellaneous copper, surface oxidation and discoloration, insufficient tensile force, not rounded, etc.
9. PVC plastic: many impurities, unqualified thermal weight loss, pores in the extrusion layer, difficult to plasticize, improper color, etc.
10. Glass ribbon: thick, drawn, small weaving density, mixed with organic fibers, easy to tear, etc.
11. PVC tape: thicker, not tensile enough, more short heads, uneven thickness, etc.
12. Refractory mica tape: layering, insufficient tensile force, stickiness, wrinkled belt coil, etc.
13. Alkali-free rock wool rope: uneven thickness, insufficient tensile force, many joints, easy to fall powder, etc.
14.PE filling strip: hard, easy to break, and the arc is not equal.
15. Non-woven fabrics: the actual thickness of the goods is not the right version, the tensile force is not enough, and the width is uneven from time to time.
